I am confused - OK it often doesn't take a lot. My wife is Thai and we spend most of our time recently in the UK although visit Thailand often. In the past I have found the 'O' visa based on receiving a UK state pension. However it's not listed on the new Thai 'E' Visa application? When I emailed the embassy outlining what I wanted they replied telling me I need to apply for either the 'OA' or an 'OX' Visa? Consulate offices in Hull and L'pool tell me they don't know anything about MEV any more as it's all handled by the Thai Embassy in London. The retirement 'o' visa is still listed on the UK Thai website though?
Does anyone know if it's still available or has it been phased out..?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the availability of the 'O' visa for retirees based on receiving a UK state pension, as conflicting information has been encountered between various Thai consulates and the embassy in London.
