TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai declaration form's necessity depends on the context of your entry, particularly concerning health declarations and visa requirements. As of now, the health declaration form has been integrated into the Thailand Pass system for entering the country. However, it's recommended to have it ready just in case. There was also a question about whether Americans require a visa, implying broader concerns about visa regulations for various nationalities.

Do Americans need visa too?

Yep, for a visa

Only guessing because question vague.

Do you mean T8 health declaration form and do you mean for entering country ?

If so officially no as its a part of the Thailand pass now. But best to have one just in case TIT

If you dont have the app, you just fill out a form with your name and phone number. It's just 'track and trace' The app isnt needed.

Thanks I didn't mean form for visa but the one for entry, this one
Michael ********
@Jon **********
no you dont need that one anymore. You fill it in electronically on tbe Thai pass
Steve *******
@Mic****
You sign the declaration form electronically for a visa. It's NOT needed for the Thailand Pass. You dont need the ThaiMorchana app either, it's like 'track and trace' in the UK, no one seems to use it!

I understand. Ive never seen that form in over 20 years, maybe it's specific to your Thai Embassy, it's not needed to enter the country
Michael ********
@Steve ******

Steve *******
@Michael *******

OK thanks, I already have my thai pass and visa

I would still print everything out for now, from reports some airlines and hotels still havent grasped the concept of electronic paperwork.

Also Morchana app download and register before entry although again some hotels dont seem to understand that either.

Safe travels

I thought it was the T.8 declaration as well, however for the new evisa system it's another form all together. My local Thai consulate emailed it to me and asked me to sign it and email back to them. I'll try to find it again and upload a copy here.

@Michael *******
Not really vague. The 'declaration form' needs to be signed for a visa.
Michael ********
@Steve ******

@Steve ******
Wrong, there is also a declaration form regarding one's health
Steve *******
@Jon **********
Never seen one of those in 20 years. There is a declaration form that needs to be signed to obtain a visa. If you're entering the country visa exempt you dont need one.
