Hi all in this great group. I'm going for my first border run on a multiple entry visum. We'll go to ban laem (border chanthaburi - Cambodia). Does anyone know if immigration there will be open this Sunday (17/12)?

We plan to get exit stamp ourselves and then let someone take my passport into Cambodia for entry/exit there.

Can anyone direct me a bit where to go? I guess the border can't be missed? Park at the border and look for immigration building? Take some 'exit' cue?

This is supposed to be between 1700-1900 baht, right?

Thanks a lot you both. The reason I have to go by myself is that I can't sit and have to lie down in the car. But it seems the advice I got (from outside this group) about getting a 'helper' is not so good. So thanks a lot.

the border doesn't close for weekends or holidays.

You stamp out of thailand buy a visa for Cambodia, walk across get stamped in, turn around get stamped out and then stamp back into thailand.

I don't think you're gonna find someone else to go stamp you in and out of cambodia.:/

As far as the cost, it'll cost what ever the cambodian visa price is..
