TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is planning a border run from Thailand to Laos using the Friendship Bridge at Nongkhai and seeks clarification on visa procedures, including stamp requirements and obtaining a Visa On Arrival (VOA) for Thailand. Commenters advise checking the availability of VOA at the land border, considering visa-exempt entry if eligible, and suggest using a border run service for assistance.

Have your address in Thailand details ready for completion of the arrival card (TM6) at Nongkhai.

Suggest you ask an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai border and back the same day. They have the answers to your question. Especially if you have never done it before.

Visa On Arrival for Thailand may not be available at those land borders, but You can enter on visa-exempt entry if you are eligible. Land borders are open as usual even during office holidays.
