Is everything back to normal now when entering Thailand (Phuket airport)

I've been many times, before Covid, but not since, I always just arrived and had no problems, visa on arrival, no problems.

Just checking as I'm about to go again.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Entry procedures for Thailand, especially at Phuket airport, have not fully returned to normal post-COVID. Currently, visa exemption allows a stay of 45 days instead of the usual 30 days, and Visa on Arrival is extended to 30 days instead of 15 days. Additionally, the distribution of TM6 cards upon arrival has been temporarily suspended.

and that too for initially 45 days instead of 30

You'll have no issues with a visa exemption on arrival.

No, not normal.

Visa exempt is temporarily 45 days instead of 30 days and Visa on Arrival is temporarily 30 days instead of 15 days.

Also they have temporarily suspended handing out the TM6 cards upon arrival.

Besides that things should be as they were.
