Covid Visa aftermath @ Suvarnabhumi today
USA - 2 years on Covid extension visas, arrived on visa exempt, and departed Bkk March 2022. No issue.
Then went to USA for 6mo and returned on TR-60 single entry visa and got a 30 extension, no issue
New years in the Philippines for 30 days and returned today on 45 day Visa exempt.

Officer went through each page. Then asks how long I plan to stay and to show my return ticket. Showed my 43day return ticket and a minute later was carted off to the immigration office.
Basic questions
What are you doing here: Tourist
Have family in Thailand: No
Then was told I need a visa if I want to stay longer. 1-2 months was ok without a visa. (Nothing new to me)
Filled out a Passenger Identification form: name, address, flight info. Got finger scanned and photo graphed. Then he walks me back through immigration.
Was taken back a bit during the process but ended ok.
