The Destination Thailand Visa is a 5 year multiple entry visa, that means you can exit/re-enter all you want and each time you will get a 180 day entry stamp.

Many people who work in nearby countries and have DTV's have exited/re-entered multiple times since getting that visa and each time they're stamped in for 180 days no questions asked

if you're IN canada you apply either at the Ottawa or Vancouver Thai consulate online using the eVisa system

If you're in thailand already you go to another country and apply for the visa at the thai consulate there

You CANNOT get this visa inside thailand
