Is the 90-day reporting app for Thai immigration valid only in Chonburi?

Someone commented to me regarding using the app to do 90 day reporting. I have used the app the last two reportings and have received receipts. He says he was told by a immigration officer that the app is for Chonburi only. Anyone else heard this or have any issues if they used the app for 90 day reporting? I hope it's just a misunderstanding.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around using the mobile app for 90-day reporting in Thailand, with some users reporting successful use in different regions like Bangkok and Phuket, while others faced issues. A comment suggests the app is location-based, requiring users to be in the same area as their immigration office. There are mixed experiences regarding the app's acceptance by various immigration offices, indicating inconsistencies in implementation across different locations.

works just fine. Need to respect the time window.

You have to apply 15 days before, but not less then 7 days before !

The web-based 90 day reporting program AND the mobile application called 'eServices' are for the entire country.

Now, whether your immigration office accepts 90 day reporting online or not (which they should but some pig headed officers at some immigration offices WON'T do) is another thing

And here's the link to the eServices for iPhone

i was using the online app and receiving confirmations on email here in Phuket but when i went down they said they couldn't find online and i should still come in and report so why use this antiquated stupid system, took down the print outs and they did accept them finally but seems nothing works in this country..

It does give you a proper receipt that they want us to cram into our passport. Hopefully they have fixed what happened to you.

The app works in Bangkok.

But you must be in the area of your immigration to use it. It will not work from abroad or from another province. As it will check your phone location

you tell me i did everything right and the num-nuts here say cannot locate online.... even though have confirmation email and number so i had to print it out and take a copy to them then the officer states ok you can do online but you must still report here, defeats the purpose right, i am sure every office is different.

Out in the provinces is where a lot of us could really use it. 100-200km trips just to tell them you haven’t moved. 🙄
