ORIGINAL POSTER
Is Thailand offering another 2 month visa extension for 1900 baht for Americans that are still here on visa amnesty extensions once November 30th comes around? I've been locked into getting stamps at the Chiang Mai office, but I'm in Rachaburi at the moment. Can I get it done there instead?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the possibility of extending a visa for two additional months for Americans in Thailand after November 30, specifically under the amnesty extension program. It also asks whether it's feasible to apply for this extension at an immigration office in Rachaburi instead of Chiang Mai. Comments confirm that it is possible to apply for a 60-day extension due to COVID-19 at the local immigration office, advising that proof of residence is pertinent.

You can apply for a 60 day unable to travel due to covid extension at the immigration office that serves the area where you're staying. If you're staying at a hotel, take the receipt and if they can print out the screen grab showing they filed a TM30 on you, I doubt you'll have problems.

hi Tod, I have my WP and Non B until Jan 21, 2021. Can I apply for this 60 days extension now to be valid from Jan 21?

nope, you don't do anything until you're a LOT closer to the expiration date you have in your passport now. I'd say go to the immigration office AFTER the new year and talk to them
