Proof of Funds with Wise?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the DTV application and proof of funds.

Most of my funds are currently held on Wise. Has anyone successfully used a Wise balance/account statement as proof of funds for the DTV visa? Or would it be safer to transfer everything to a traditional bank account before applying?

I’m planning to apply in Vientiane, Laos in about 3 months, so I’d really appreciate hearing recent experiences from people who applied there. Thanks!

I've heard of conflicting cases where it's sometimes okay and sometimes not, as it isn't officially a registered bank. If you have another option, I'd recommend using the other option but Wise will probably be fine.
