TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent discussions reveal that individuals extending their DTV in Thailand are indeed required to show proof of funds. Multiple commenters confirm needing to demonstrate that they have maintained a certain amount in their bank accounts, with varying amounts suggested, but one confirmed requirement is holding at least 500,000 Thai Baht or its equivalent in another currency for a minimum of 30 days prior to the extension application. Additionally, showing bank statements and possibly an online banking app may be necessary during the application process.
i was asked for a new financial proof when i extended my DTV. 500k for at least 30 days in my account. need to show bank statements. (500k equivalent in Euro it was)

Can I ask if I’ve had the amount in my bank for just under 2 months would this qualify for the DTV visa application? Worried it won’t have been in my account long enough 🙂

So if I want to extend then I should be ready to show funds. Can someone confirm the amount? I’ve heard 3 different numbers. Thanks
