TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's passport is valid since it is not due to expire until August 2026. However, they must be careful to adhere to the 180-day limit for their visa entry, which means they should plan to leave Thailand by May 25th to avoid overstaying. The conversation emphasizes the importance of understanding visa regulations and the legal implications of overstaying.

Cheers, totally didn't think about the 180 days. I'll change that to a week earlier!

20 years ago we could stay for as long as you wanted and you just paid 20k on the way out. I like how they really got their act together with immigration - something European countries could learn from!

You can return to your home country only via a direct or fly-thru flight (where you don't have to pass immigration) with less than 6 months validity. That's ok. But there are not 180 days between your mentioned dates. On a safe side, leave Thailand on 25th May because they count first day, last day, 31's in some months, everything. Your limit is 180 days, not 6 months. Be careful.

Your passport is okay πŸ‘

BUT you should have obtained a new one while you were in your home country.

Be careful with your dates...180 days is the maximum time per entry.

It appears that you are going to be on OVERSTAY... NEVER a good idea.

The day you arrive counts as Day #1...

Suggest you not push the departure date to 180 days... you could get sick or unable to get to the airport.

Good Luck πŸ€
