Help. My Thai girlfriend is staying with me in the UK until December, I would like to take her to Goa for a holiday, and just realised she will only have 5 1/2 months left on her passport.
So is it possible for her to get a new Thai passport In the UK and if so how long would it take, or is there a fast service. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on renewing their Thai girlfriend's passport while she is in the UK, as she has only 5 and a half months left until expiration. The comments suggest that renewing the passport at the Thai Embassy in London can be challenging due to unhelpful staff and long wait times. It's mentioned that processing can take 4 to 6 weeks and advice is given to arrive early at the embassy, as it has limited opening hours.
We found the person very rude when getting my wife's visa .we waited in a line with all the paperwork in order and because my wife's money to pay for the visa .she had to get out of her purse they sent us to the back of a line of 30 people . this is just my experience...
Thai embassy in London IS really hard to get hold of. But if u go to the embassy in person u will see how many ppl they deal with. However they will be helpful there. Take all the relevant papers and u 2 might be lucky. Good luck.
I think you might struggle because the Thai Embassy in London are so unfriendly and unhelpful and never answer the phone.they will probably say go back and do it in Thailand .but if you do .make sure you use a direct flight and clear it with the airline.my wife's passport only had 5 months on hers and needed to change but couldn't get on with the embassy so we flew direct with Thai airways ...
