Hi all,

I know that when you leave thailand your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. In my case i am leaving thailand on march 8 2026. My passport expires on september 14 2026. So technically my passport is valid for 6 months and 6 days. Do the thai authorities also count that way is my question?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether their passport, which expires 6 days beyond the 6-month requirement when leaving Thailand, is acceptable. Responses indicate that Thailand does not have a specific requirement for passport validity upon departure, emphasizing that as long as the passport is valid, the user should be able to leave. It's noted that any restrictions might stem from the destination country instead.
