I have a one way ticket from Brisbane Australia to Chiang Mai on Singapore Airlines. I fly in a week or so. I will stay until next year.
I have a valid retirement visa with the extension until August.
I have a single entry re-entry permit.
I prefer to only have a one way ticket ….if possible….but I could easily buy a return leg if required.
Is my current arrangement safe..?
Am I ok to stick with the one way ticket….? I don’t want any hassles at the check in…
Appreciate all your help…thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The traveler has a valid retirement visa with an extension until August and a single entry re-entry permit. They are concerned about flying to Thailand from Brisbane with a one-way ticket. Responses confirm that as long as they hold a valid visa, they should not face any issues at check-in with their airline regarding the one-way ticket, but it is advised to check directly with the airline for confirmation.
