Why bother to buy a visa that does not allow you to work?
Keep doing what you are doing until you qualify to buy the correct visa and visit Thailand.

The DTV doesn't allow you to work from Thai companies or Thai clients, but you ARE allowed to make money online from companies or clients outside Thailand
