Hi all! Just wanting some advice about crossing via Thanaleng (Laos) to Nong Khai.
We are coming back to Thailand after (almost) a month in Laos. We will come through Nong Khai for our train back to Bangkok tomorrow night.
Just wondering, if our train isn’t until 19:40, is it safe to leave the crossing until after midday? Or, with it being a bit of a busy crossing, should we just come over as early as possible and kill time in town until our train?
Appreciate your advice! 🙏🏻
N.B - We are both coming through on a visa exemption (Australian and South African - and have not done any land crossings previously, only 2 x plane entries last year, no overstays, and an extension each of the 2 times we came).
