Asking on behalf of a cousin-

.

My cousin lives in Goa, India. He had travelled to Thailand once in 2019 with his Indian passport.

.

Couple of months back he got approval of Portuguese passport since certain Goan residents are given. He will be travelling again to Thailand 🇹🇭 this year in June. Will there be any issues or questions asked during the time of immigration after landing ?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about potential immigration issues for their cousin, who previously traveled to Thailand on an Indian passport and now has approval for a Portuguese passport. A commenter notes that dual passports are common and that Thai immigration will use biometric data to link the two passports. If the individual is a regular tourist and not trying to misuse the dual passport system, there should not be any issues during immigration.

Many people have dual passports. Thai immigration database will link both using passport data and biometrics. That said if he is a normal tourist and not trying to use two passports to bypass visa rules there shouldn’t be any issue.
