Now that I’ve extended my visa for one month with embassy letter. Is it possible to change my visa extension to non-b? FYI, my immigration office(Pathum Thani) says it’s not possible, but what I’ve read online and other visa Infographs says differently. Does anyone have experience with this?

What type of entry stamp or extension did you go TO amnesty from?

Visa on arrival after boarder hopping in Laos before Covid closed. Then amnesty, now 30 day extension based on embassy letter.

there is no 30 day visa on arrival from a border hope, IF got stamped in for 30 days from bouncing out and back you came in on a 30 day visa exempt entry,

Which means you need to have your employer get ahold of the immigration office because you should be able to apply for an in country Non-imm visa from this 30 day embassy request extension as long as when you go back to get the extension inked in (after the under consideration stamp) you still have at least 15 days left on the extension

thank you for the Information. I asked when I was getting my extension inked and they said I still need to leave the country. Is it possible that they don’t want to deal with it at the moment and I should come back in a week? I got my 30 days stamped already, no under consideration.
