TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion reveals that it is common practice for Bangkok Bank to charge fees for debit cards, including replacement fees and annual charges. Various users have shared their experiences, noting fees can range from 100 to 400 baht for replacements depending on circumstances. Additionally, some users compared these charges to other banks in Thailand, indicating that most banks have some form of card fee.
The limits on these bank accident/medical insurance are so low it's meaningless. KBank will give you 5,000B max per accident and if you are hospitalised they will pay 300B per day, up to 30 days. It's nothing.
Btw i left my card in an atm last month and did not have to pay a fee for a new card with this one. Previous i had to pay 100 or 200 bht for a replacement but not with this
Wow! That’s madness. I’ll never want a credit card but just something to separate my monthly daily spend and bills, then savings. Looks like it’ll have to be with another back for savings. Illogical 🤪
dont know i closed my current account in phuket which i had for nearly 30yrs and they would only let me open savings account long term customers mean nothing
