If you are attempting to cause unease by suggesting all DTV holders entering Thailand post 31st August changes suffer delays caused by immigration interrogations the answer, as you can see from the reports, is no. Prior to 31st August there were no issues either (apart from the regular troll tales that is).
I had my passport in a leather cover and he agent told me to remove the cover next time and asked if I had a Thai girlfriend… he was quite kind and nice… he said DTV? I said yes and he stamped me and I double checked and 6 month stamp
Arrived on the 3rd at 4:30 am. Long lines to get to an IO, but 2 mins (max) at booth. Showed PP, DTV and fingerprints. No questions asked, stamped 180 days.
Yeah, I arrived Monday at 5 a.m. It took me maybe one minute to reach the immigration booth and 30 seconds to get stamped in. I only had to do the fingerprints and look into the camera. No questions asked.
