Hi, has anyone tried to get the 60 day covid extension recently. I've heard rumors they are starting to make it more difficult, is this the case? I will renew in samui! Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users have reported varying experiences with obtaining the 60-day COVID extension in Thailand. Overall, many have found the process straightforward and without complications. One individual successfully extended their visa with minimal wait time, while another noted that local immigration offices may have different protocols. Visiting immigration in person seems to be the recommended approach to clarify any concerns.

I went into immigration in phuket to ask them if I can get a covid visa extension before Jan 25 and they said no problem at all just come one week before the visa I had was going to expire
I would go and see your immigration personally as it may be different from different immigration offices
