Is it better to enter Thailand through Bangkok or Chiang Mai considering recent immigration questioning of DTV?

I heard immigration has been questioning DTV upon border run arrival. Does anybody have any advice? I am wondering if I should enter through Bangkok or through Chiang Mai. I live in Chiang Mai, but I heard that Bangkok may be better for entering.

Appreciate any info 🙏

The conversation discusses concerns regarding immigration questioning of DTV (Digital Nomad) visa holders upon arrival in Thailand. Users share their experiences, suggesting that entering through Bangkok may offer better options due to services like fast track meetings and green corridors, which can ease the entry process. Others emphasize that legitimate visa holders typically face little questioning, and any queries can be handled by providing necessary documents if asked.

Book a green corridor via suvarnaphumi for 4k baht, many agencies provide that service, you'll be let in - no matter dtv or a dozen of stamps

Lots of people are able to answer Facebook questions.

Why is it so difficult to answer the question asked by another person when entering a foreign country?

What if they question you? You just answer the questions, show whatever they ask you to show (if any, like bank app balance) and get in.

Book a fast track meeting with an officer at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and you won't have to worry about being turned away.

Why should you be worried? The crackdown is for visa-exempt abusers. It doesn't affect visa holders unless you have a history of staying long-term in Thailand using visa-exempt entries.

because many DTVers been living here prior for years using stamps and dodgy visas, you're talking about a half of all dtv visa holders here lol

visa exempt entries as in not having a long stay visa? Using tourist visa and doing border runs?
