When showing the bank statement for proof of 500k THB, is it alright to have received like 1-5k USD from a family member during this period, or should the income be mainly from the remote job?

Any experience?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When providing proof of 500,000 THB in your bank statement for a visa application, it's acceptable to include family transfers ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 USD. There's no strict income requirement, as the 500,000 THB is meant to demonstrate financial independence or stability.

Many have had their accounts topped up by family before submission, no doubt. It is fine. They will want to see deposits from an employer for the workcation DTV and some embassies request it for SP.
