If you have a sponsor, like your father or boyfriend, for a tourist trip to Thailand, do you still need to provide your own bank statement as a Filipino?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have a sponsor for your trip to Thailand, you may still need to provide a personal bank statement. While visa exemption rules for Filipinos allow entry without a visa, there are financial requirements, such as showing proof of funds (10,000 THB for individuals or 20,000 THB for families). Generally, checks on these financial proofs are rare, but it's advisable to be prepared, especially if traveling alone.

If you are with your boyfriend , passport is enough but if your traveling alone I guess they will ask for it or you need AOS because they will make sure you can afford to your vacation

Are you talking about the rules to leave PH? I recommended before that you search for a Thai/PH group to get this info

My understanding is anyone who enters Thailand on a Visa exemption entry needs to be able to show they have available at least 10,000 Thailand Baht for individuals or 20,000 Thailand Baht for a family..

That's is an immigration rule..

But in reality it's very rarely if ever checked or any questions asked about funds however it's still a possibility of course so you should be aware of that..

Filipinos are visa exempt for entry into Thailand.
