TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses whether dental work can be considered a medical treatment sufficient for obtaining a non-immigration O visa or a medical O visa in Thailand. Some comments indicate that while there is no specific medical O visa, individuals have been able to obtain a DTV visa for dental procedures. Additionally, it's mentioned that a retirement visa wouldn't be necessary for dental work, as a visa exemption could suffice.
No, as far as I know there is no medical O visa. There is a medical DTV or if you are hospitalized they can get you a visa while under care, but that is more of a β I am not overstaying I canβt leave type thingβ ie emergency.
there is indeed a medical Non-O visa, single entry 90 days. You need appointment letter from hospital/medical centre and financial proof covering medical fees and living expenses.
