Hello. Yesterday started treatment for implants. Will have more preparation work done in 2 weeks, 2 weeks later flying back to home country. Where will apply for a DTV - Visa. The pictures shown. Would this be sufficient proof for Thai Embassy when applying.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original question relates to whether a treatment description and receipt from dental implants would be sufficient proof for applying for a DTV visa at the Thai Embassy. Multiple comments suggest that merely having a receipt and treatment description is not enough. At a minimum, applicants should prepare a detailed treatment plan, a doctor's letter, financial documentation, and proof of accommodation. It is advised to consult specific visa advice groups for more tailored guidance.

I am Soft Power medical treatment DTV holder,

You need

1) an appointment letter from hospital.

2) Visa request letter (if any)

3) Cover letter ( must state why you need for long treatments otherwise embassy would approve non O visa)

4) Bank Statements ( 3 months at least each month to meet minimum requirements if you show more which is favourable that you have sufficient fund). I used ink stamp by signing brach manager from each bank.

5) Proof of accommodation.

( I booked nearby hospital for one month)

6) Proof of residence of current country ( Tenancy agreement with utility bills)

I doubt it very much. You would need a treatment plan going forward, not treatment in the past. Best to have a plan covering at least 6 months signed off by a dentist and with official company stamp

ok thank you Jack. I will try and get a letter from the practice with a bit more meat on the bone. The doctor said that with time spans etc it would take well over a year?

I’m a novice at best mate, with a Thai child and wife, but following the thread I would say bolster it, and depending on “where” you apply, do your best.

yes criteria is a bit vague. One said all that is needed is proof of appointment. Which seems a bit light. The other I read. Which is nearer the mark is : That applicant should provide a documentation from a well recognised medical / dental facility detailing treatment plans and scheduled appointments ( which should last at least 6 months). I guess I will have to put this in writing to the dental practice before my next appointment.

Nope. Honestly 3 months in the group and you think a receipt and a single visit treatment description is enough to get you a 5-year visa?

This group is specific for DTV so you might get a better response from one of the regular Thailand Visa Advice | DTV | Retirement & More or Thailand Visa Advice QA groups since you are applying for a Non O.

No. My questioning was wrong. Don’t know why I was thinking of O Visa. What was meant was a DTV visa.
