I’m sure this Q has been posted before but can’t actually find the answer, so apologies for the Q again.

Does anyone know if Chaengwattana immigration has reopened again? We are on a 30 day tourist visa and plan to extend it for another 30 days. I also saw it did move to IT Square but this was in April, so has this changed?

Lastly, besides passports, is there additional docs / info I need to be bringing just to extend, I was always get caught with new things to provide years ago.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the reopening status of Chaengwattana Immigration and its current location, as well as the necessary documents for extending a tourist visa in Thailand. The comments clarify that tourists with a 60-day visa should visit Chaengwattana, while those on a 30-day visa exemption should go to IT Square. Required documents include copies of the passport data page, entry stamp, TM6 departure card, a filled TM7 form, a passport photo, and a fee of 1,900 baht.

Depends how you entered. With a tourist visa (60 days) you go to Chaengwattana - counter J, visa exempt (30 days) you go to IT Square Laksi Plaza - 3rd floor, counter K

Copy passport data page

Copy of entry stamp

Copy of TM6 departure card

Fill out form TM7

Passport photo

1,900 baht

Yes. 3rd floor. Counter K. You didn’t get a tourist visa, you entered visa exempt.
