Is a visa run to Mae Sai (Myanmar) possible right now or is Huay Xai a better option from Chiang Mai?

Hi, does anybody know if it’s possible to do a visa run to Mae Sai (Myanmar) at the moment? Or is the best option Huay Xai from Chiang mai? Thanks
