Looking for advice on Visa type. Planning to visit Thailand to attend some meetings at a company I'm employed at (I'm employed by a Thai company as a consultant and I work outside of the Kingdom). Would a non B visa be the correct choice?

Your company should be sorting this for you as you may also need a work permit.
