I apologize if this is not allowed. I have a US passport. I have been living in Thailand for over a year. I have a flight from Chiang Rai to Bangkok, and then Bangkok to Seoul. Then I have a flight from Seoul to the US. Can anyone tell me if Thailand will require me to show a fit to fly certificate?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A fit to fly certificate is not required for leaving Thailand on international flights, including the user's journey from Chiang Rai to Seoul. However, travelers should be aware of the health requirements of their transit country (South Korea) and ensure they are compliant, especially as they may need to complete health questionnaires or undergo temperature checks.

No , but ask you Airways for details

Not when you leave BKK. I just flew BKK to Seoul to Chicago then to Houston. In Korea we had to fill out a health questionair and have a temp check

Here are the current restrictions for Korea based on nationality. It appears they are based on your passport, not your country of origin. It says Thai nationals may enter with a health cert and a letter from a Korean embassy.

Yes, you are not entering Korea only transiting, so I don't think the above applies to you. But there should be some specific guidance regarding transiting through Korea.

Thank you. Yes, I did research this information for Korea. I have a transit flight from korea to the US.

As I understand it, the "fit to fly" is required to ENTER Thailand rather than to leave it.

Of course, South Korea might have it's own requirements.

No, interprovincial travel and international flights leaving Thailand do not require a fit-to-fly certificate, only international flights coming INTO Thailand.

However, you should look at see what Korea's current requirements are.
