I wanted to apply for Japan tourist visa in Thailand, according to Japan embassy they said I need to have long term. Is DTV considered Long term? I already asked them via email but their answer is just „If you have Thai long-term visa and re-entry, you reach visa application regulation. please visit

it's not considered a "long term visa" legally, so it would be down to the discretion of the japanese embassy. No one else can answer this for you. Try emailing them again with the exact question of if they consider dtv as a long term visa. Maybe add a pic of your entry exit stamp.
