Is a cover letter sufficient for applying for DTV as a freelancer if I have over 500K baht in savings?

I am looking to apply for DTV as a freelancer. I make well over 40k USD a year, have a written contract with a client in Hong Kong and invoices to back it up. I also live in my home country. I have parked 2x the 500k baht limit across my bank accounts. However, they are split into savings and liquid FDs. They are linked to my bank account and appear in the consolidated statements. There's no lien or tie-in, just better interest earned. Is a strong self-explanatory cover letter enough, or should I get a letter from my bank? That's the only piece that's worrying me. Would appreciate any help!

Check w your local thai embassy. In the US they ask for 2yrs of income tax filings. Seems like every embassy now has their own set of rules

FDs by nature are not liquid, if you have the 500k plus on a current account you should be fine, if not I would let the FDs mature and send the money across to the other account.
