Taipei DTV freelancer :

Applied yesterday morning (11 february) upon arrival. Provided everything thanks to the lovely advices here.

Today (12th) it switch to "pending approval".

Is it a good sign that could indicate that my documents were approved?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a visa in Taipei and received a "pending approval" status shortly after submission. Community members advised that while this status indicates the application is being reviewed, it could mean various outcomes including approval, requests for additional documents, or interviews. Patience is encouraged during this waiting period.

It means your docs are looked. Taipei approves quickly but as mentioned they often ask for an interview.
