Visa O marriage extension

Is the 6 months transactions bank statement required, even though you are presenting your bank book with a copy of the transactions ? Or is either one or the other ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Visa O marriage extension in Thailand, you may not need to provide a separate 6-month bank statement if your bank passbook shows detailed individual transactions. A copy of the bank passbook, updated on the application day and showing a minimum balance for each month, might suffice if accompanied by a bank letter. However, if you are using bank balances as proof, two months' transactions since the application date are required; otherwise, a full year's transaction history is needed.

100 baht for letter , 100 baht for statement. Multi task and go and get some food while waiting.

My bank provided statement on the spot last week no problems

As you need to go to the bank anyway why not just get the statements?

100 baht? That's going to break the bank. A lot easier than turning up without it and finding that it's required

If your bank passbook has every single transaction record separately, no "sum up" deposit or withdrawal record, a copy of your passbook (updated on the day of application) with meeting minimum balance for each month along with a bank letter would be sufficient.

You have to provide two months' transactions as of the application date if you use all banked money methods. Otherwise, you will need 12 months of transaction records.

Hi
@Ellie ******
in previous years, I have provided 3 months of transition records for my non-o marriage extension. You now say that one needs to provide 12 months of transaction records. Is this a new requirement?
Ellie *******
@Christopher ******
, If you use the 100% banked money method to meet the requirements, you need a transaction record for two date-to-date months as of the application date. Otherwise, means if you are using the monthly transfer method (if your office approved your case), you need the record for 12 months.
