Good evening everyone. I am just starting to get all my paperwork ready for my marriage extension. I live in Chiang Mai and I am a British citizen. My question is how many months of bank statements do I have to get? I have read 3,6 and 12 months so I am a little confused. I am using the 400,000 in the bank method.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a marriage extension in Thailand, particularly using the 400,000 THB bank balance method, applicants often wonder how many months of bank statements are required. There seems to be some confusion, as different sources mention varying requirements—ranging from 3 to 12 months. However, the general consensus typically leans towards needing 3 to 6 months of bank statements for the application.
