I haven't asked for any hard drugs but I get prescription sleeping pills from a local doctor without much hassle. I would guess that if you have a legitimate reason you can probably get a prescription locally... But I don't really know.

No, you will need to take your prescription to a hospital GP and request the medication, as only they can dispense Oxy and only from Thai scripts, not an unknown overseas DR script.
