Hello! How many days should i book and show proof of accompdation? I am doing muay thai dtv and applying in Hanoi. Also someane told me to book the cheapest hostel for 14 days and then cancel and show that and then book my own. I was wondering if my legit 5 day stay hotel will be sufficient for application. Thank you!

Answer summary

The user is inquiring about the required duration of accommodation proof for a Thai visa application while applying from Hanoi, Vietnam, specifically mentioning a stay for training in Muay Thai. They express concern over conflicting advice regarding booking a hostel for 14 days and whether a legitimate booking for 5 days would suffice. Community members responded by sharing their experiences, noting that a 5-day hotel booking appears adequate as long as all paperwork is correct and suggesting to ensure the booking aligns with travel plans.

approved earlier this month in Hanoi. Took 4 working days including, a request for further documents.( Put paper work through Sunday night and was approved Thursday afternoon) Had a legitimate Hotel booking and return flight to Thailand indicating stay in Vietnam would be 14 days. As soon as the approval came I rescheduled the flight and cancelled remainder of hotel accommodation and left Vietnam the following day.

5 day hotel booking should be fine, I was approved with a similar booking. Triple check everything applying in Vietnam. They are tightening up on approvals.
