Hi everyone, I applied for DTV (softpower) in Hanoi on October 6th. It's been in processing since October 9th. Awaiting approval. Is anyone in the same situation as me? In Hanoi, of course. Thanks.
UPDATE approved now🥳😍♥️🇹🇭

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about their experience waiting for a DTV (softpower) visa approval in Hanoi, having applied on October 6th. They received approval on October 10th and encountered responses from others who reported quick approval times, typically around 5 to 8 days. Several comments shared personal experiences from applicants who also received approvals within a week, while a few noted delays or pending statuses, indicating a generally favorable but variable timeline for DTV visa processing.
Anonymous participant softpower and they asked for Vietnam stamp or visa last week as additional document. Probably because I already live in Thailand so they needed a proof I’m outside the country.
Anonymous participant if you’re stressed remember you’re not alone 😂 I genuinely can’t wait to go home, the minute I receive a confimation I’m already standing by the gate on my way to Thailand, Hanoi has overloaded my nervous system to the max 😂
no, but my wife owns a visa service here in Thailand and they do these a few times a week so they are pretty good at getting it right the first time. Nearly everyone I know that has done it on their own had to submit more documents 2,3,4 times….
We applied on October 6th Workcation. Extra documents sent on the 8th and we are still waiting. 2 of us applied. My husband and a friend. Both for the Workcation DTV.
