Hello! Do you know roughly how long it should take for a Thai visa to be processed in the U.K.? We will be staying in Samui for 6 weeks but maybe longer. Thanks so much.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Visa processing for a Thai visa in the U.K. typically takes between 2 to 5 days when applying through the eVisa system. Users reported processing times as quick as less than 24 hours to 3 days if all documentation is correct. There are considerations for extending stays, such as the limitation of extending a 30-day entry stamp.

Why not do it in immigration office Thailand?

well because I believe you can only extend once for an extra 30 days max on the 30 day Thai entry stamp, so just in case we stay longer. Also to save time doing it in advance.

2-3 days if all your uploaded docs are correct. You can check your application status on the evisa website.

Mine was processed in 3 days

The UK uses the evisa system. From reports most people are getting them between 3 - 5 days.
