TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Pass itself does not grant any additional time for staying in Thailand; the length of stay is determined by the visa held or visa exemption eligibility. Visa-exempt travelers typically receive 30 days upon arrival, which can be extended for another 30 days for a fee.

If I’ve received my Thailand pass can I travel earlier than the date I gave ?

30 days

The ThailandPass does not grant you any time to stay in Thailand. That is determined by the visa you hold, or if eligible you can enter visa exempt. If visa exempt then you would get 30 days on arrival. That is extendable once in country for a further 30 days at a cost of 1,900 baht.

can you further extend after you have extended once already? ThAnks in advance.

@Rain *******
no. One extension is the limit. However you may be able to change to a different extension in country depending on certain factors. There are options depending on age, or whether you want to study or volunteer. We’d need some more info about your specifics to advise which route would be best.

what if after the first extension is done you go to another country for a week and then choose to go back to Thailand, are you allowed ?
Stuart *********
@Joseph *****
Yes. You would have to go through the ThailandPass system again.

In theory there’s no limit on how many times you can do this, but after a while the immigration officer is going to question why and either give you a warning or bar you from entering.

sweet !

Haha we could just say I love your country so much that I wanna keep spending money here

@Joseph *****
And their answer to that would be "then get an appropriate long stay visa ie retirement, volunteer, education or elite"
Joseph ******
@Dianne ****
and our reply would be , we don't qualify for any of those hahah

Stuart Cumming, can you ask for 60 days extension on your first request before the 30 day exempt expires in country? If so, same amount 1,900. Thanks for reply and advise.
Stuart *********
@Ben ********
that’s up to the immigration office you use. We’ve heard that some have managed that, but others haven’t.
