Answer summary
The waiting time for picking up your visa at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane can vary, but recent experiences suggest it is generally quick. Several users reported being in and out in as little as 10 to 15 minutes, especially if they arrived early. It is advisable to get there ahead of your appointment to minimize waiting time.

Geez, you're in a rush, aren't you? Get there early and you should be good but always be flexible.

I'm at the Vientiane embassy now. I hope to be first in line, and hopefully in and out in under 15 minutes.
