TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand, you generally need to provide a deposit certificate or bank statements showing a balance of at least 500,000 baht maintained for three months. It is recommended to apply for the deposit certificate as close to your application date as possible, ideally on the same day. However, the processing time may vary by bank, with some banks issuing certificates within a few days. Ensure that the documentation uploaded with your application, such as bank statements, clearly shows your name and reflects the required period.
for a DTV application, isn't the upload of three months .pdf account statements enough (with your name clearly to be seen at the top) ? Why would you need to get your bank set up a statement?

It will depend on the bank what is possible but you want that document to be dated as close as possible to your application date. I got the document on the same day as my application. Got it in the morning, applied in the afternoon.

Wait...apparently wait, wait, wait...a full three months, 90 days with the

million baht in your account.

Depends on your bank how long they take to issue them. My bank took 3 days to issue a deposit certificate. I applied a week later.
