TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a 30-day extension on your 60-day visa exempt entry in Bangkok starting from 45 days before your visa expires, which means from November 15th if your visa expires on December 30th. The immigration office at IT Square Plaza Laksi will be open during normal hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and it will be closed for lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM, even during Christmas week. One user reported that they were advised to apply closer to the expiration date, in the last week of the 60 days.
I went early denied me,said come on the last week of the 60

Okay in BANGKOK you can apply for a 30 day extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp
So with a stamp that runs out on the 30th of Dec you can apply any time from Nov 15th onward
You cannot go to "any office" (like the comment I deleted said) ๐ They did state correctly that Christmas isn't a holiday here for thaiz or thai govt workers so the office will be open the normal hours which is from 8:30am-4:30pm (closed from 12-1 for lunch).
To get a 30 day extension on a 60 day visa exempt entry in Bangkok you go to the immigration office at the IT Square Plaza Laksi location.
