Do I need to transfer 800K through international banking channels for a Thai retirement visa if I've used WISE?

Retirement visa: I have been using the bank WISE (formerly transferwise) to transfer funds from overseas, so there is no proof it came from overseas. On the other hand I have maintained a balance over 1 million for several years. Will this be accepted, or do I still have to transfer 800K through international banking channels?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a retirement visa in Thailand, it's important to show that the required funds have been transferred internationally. For an initial application for a Non-O visa based on retirement, your banked money of 800,000 baht must be documented as international transfers if you are applying for the first time. However, if you are seeking a one-year extension of stay, the funds do not need to have been transferred internationally. You may consider setting parameters in WISE to ensure your transfers are recognized as international.

Your banked money of 800K baht has to be shown as international transfer(s) when you apply for an initial in-country Non-O visa based on being over 50 yo.

Your funds don't have to be transferred internationally when you apply for a 1-year extension based on being over 50/retirement.

It depends on where you want to apply for your first visa if your current account meets the requirements or not.

You can set parameters on WISE to meet the requirements (show as international transfer on your bank record), but how to use WISE is out of the scope of this group.
