How/where do people first hear about the 90 day reporting requirement? If it wasn't for this group, I wouldn't even know it exists 🤷🏾♀️.

Answer summary
Many expats initially learn about the 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand through informal channels, such as conversations with friends or community groups, rather than from official sources. Some mention that the requirement is noted on the TDAC form completed upon entry into Thailand. Others share experiences about being unaware of the requirement until informed by peers, highlighting the common oversight of immigration rules affecting various visa holders.

It's on the TDAC form. Everyone have to complete TDAC when entering Thailand. I know it's there, because I read the reminder about 90-day reporting everytime I complete a TDAC form to return to Thailand.
I heard from it from a friend whose on retirement visa, not from any official sources... even when on ED i didnt know about it, i went with school to io every 3months to extend, but nobody told me it was also the 90day report 😅
UnforgettableCamel4996 I attached this page together with “het aanvraagformulier” when requesting for VOG via the website of our gemeente. And the reason for requesting is “visum”.
These are general immigration rules that apply to all visa holders in Thailand. They are not specific to the DTV. Unfortunately many people focus only on the DTV and overlook the bigger picture.
MysticalAsparagus5854 That's part of our responsibility when moving here. That's just how things work in Thailand. Nothing is ever 100% straightforward unfortunately.
