What was the experience like traveling to Phuket under the Test & Go scheme?

Thank you everyone for all your info and answers. 🙏 We made it from Singapore to Phuket under Test & Go and it was super smooth. Airport was really organised, not much waiting - landed at 6:30pm and in our hotel room by 8pm. Test results came through at 8am so perfectly in time for breakfast.

Wonderful to be back in beautiful Thailand and among the friendliest people in the world. 🥰

Any questions about our experience, feel free to ask away!

That’s great news! Do you know which are the quieter areas of Phuket?

Super easy, just print everything and it’ll be a breeze. Fill in the immigration form on the plane so you’re not stuck in the queue filling it on arrival. Coming off the plane, stop 1: Thai pass, negative pre arrival test and immigration form filled in. stop 2: passport and thai pass. stop 3: luggage claim, stop 4: pcr test form and sha hotel booking check and given pcr test tube. stop 5: pcr test and then taxi pick up!

Going tomorrow, your post is encouraging!

Hi
@Tamara ***************
did you receive any instructions at the airport or at your hotel for the new requirement of day 6 PCR?
Tamara ****************

@Shah ********
We received absolutely no information about the follow up test requirements and were given no ART tests and no info on the new day 6 PCR one either. We leave on day 8, so need to get a test done on day 6 anyway to for our return to Singapore, so it’s no stress for us. I was going to ask the hotel about it.

I queried about this.

Customers who have been approved from Thailand Pass can book the free 2nd swab test via

after you arrive at the airport.

I had the same experience. Been here for six days and never leaving. Enjoy your trip!

Did your 3 old needed a pcr ? Which hotel? Just 90 min from arrival to the hotel 👍🏼. In my case around 2:15h from BKK to my Hotel (lunch break of the driver included 😅)

No pre-departure pcr test required for her, on arrival in Phuket very gentle mouth swab pcr (not even throat).

So, you didn't need to do a pre-departure RT-PCR? I've gotten so much contradictory advice on this!

@Zoë ****
Nope. Under 6 yrs old it’s not necessary for PCR result to enter thailand under Test & go. You can find the official info here:
