Just approved in Hanoi!

Worcation (have my own LLC, I’m stylist, have my own online-course), Russian, applied 24th Feb at 5pm.

25th morning — pending approval

2 March at 7pm — approved

No additional docs.

So basically 4 working days + weekends

I prepared:

- 6 months with 500k and more for ending balance every month

- registration docs of my LLC

- cover letter with explanation what is my work about, my mission, where i get my clients from

- screenshot from my website, from my educational platform, screenshots of homework of my students

- page in my passport with Vietnam stamp

All in 1 pdf (about 20+ pages)

What I did also:

- table with summary of ending balances with currency rates in my homeland currency and THB

- highlighted ending balances in bank statements

- several times mentioned that I’m working only online and only with Russians (so i’m not interested to work in Thai in person)

Thank you all for useful information!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A stylist from Russia recently shared their experience of applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Hanoi, reporting that their application was approved swiftly within four working days. They submitted a PDF containing various documents, including bank statements showing a 500,000 THB balance, registration documents for their LLC, and a cover letter outlining their online work and clientele. They emphasized the importance of showcasing that they work exclusively online and expressed gratitude for the community's support. The post also included comments from others congratulating them and offering advice on printing the visa for travel and questioning the necessity of certain document requirements.

None of this is actually on the website. Who asked you for six months of bank statements, registration docs, screenshot your website, etc. People need to stop doing sh!t that’s not on the website. then do a charge back on your card if they deny you. That will teach them to stop being lazy and stup!d

Congratulations 👏👏 👏

Thank You for your helpful report.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

That’s great! Did you translate the documents from Russian to English by yourself without notarization? Thanks

Yes, without notarisation. Just create the same example in Word in English, make the Stamp in Canva, then convert to pdf. Looked very professional))) it was enough. They can’t reach the government in my country.

Ok, thanks. So if I understand correctly, you only submitted the English version that you wrote in Word and applied the stamp using Canva. But did you take the stamp from the original contract and place it on the translated version, or did you create it directly in Canva? Thank you!
