I am wondering if it is possible to change my visa from non-o inside Thailand to a business visa with workpermit. Possibly in combination with a marriage visa. We, or my partner, have to set up a company as well.

If you have a Non-O visa/extension based on marriage to a thai you don't NEED to change to a Non-B visa at all. You can legally hold a work permit and work on a Non-O visa/extension based on marriage to a thai.
correct, I'm doing exactly the same. Additional benefit that if you stop working or change job, no need to apply for visa again. Plus, the process of work permit much faster if it's not linked to non-b visa.
, IF you have an extension based on marriage to a thai you can work legally and if you switch jobs or lose your job you don't lose the extension because it's not based on employment but marriage to a thai :)
If that's the case, GET married, then go cancel your extension based on retirement and immediately apply for a new yearly extension based on marriage to a thai.
you're just changing the reason for your extension from retirement to marriage
