So i have made a bit of an error in not asking my Thai family I’m staying with to do the TM30. I arrived to stay with them on Friday evening. We came from a hotel in Bangkok. I’m on non o visa which will change to married visa after 3 months. Question is, is it easy enough for family to do TM30 online and will we get fined? Thanks if you read all of this!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about not registering their address with the TM30 form since staying with Thai family after arriving from a hotel. They seek guidance on whether their family can easily file the TM30 online and if they would incur any fines for the delay. A commenter suggests that filing the TM30 online is manageable if the family follows a user guide, and reassures that no fines should be incurred for the delay in filing.

Is it easy enough for your family to file the tm30 online using the web portal?

That depends on how savy they are with Thai websites, there's a user guide have them read it.

You won't be fined because immigrations has no idea when you left the hotel and actually showed up at that address,.

So have them make a user account, have them add an address, then have them file a tm30 on you and download the receipt.

Just so you understand, you're not going to apply for any marriage visa after this 90 days runs down. You have the 90 day non-o Visa already based on marriage, all you going to be doing is applying for a year extension based on marriage when you have 30 days or less left on your current 90 day entry stamp

You should go to your immigration office, and get the handout listing the requirements to apply for that year extension as far as photos, documents, copies, etc.

Here's the online team 30 website

There is a video link on the TM30 registration home page, watch that to see home simple the 3 step process is (after set up you only do step 3 in future)

Right (y) it might indeed be easier for them (depending on how far from the immigration office they are) to go file in person.

the online system is not complicated, just don't get ahead of yourselves

1 - first make a profile/user name

2 - then add an address to that profile

3 - then you can select that address to file a Tm30 for someone on

4 - then once you save the data of that person you search for it and export the file giving you a PDF you can print that is your TM30 receipt

read the user guide, it's in thai or english

your ultimate goal at the end is to have this paper
